Townsville, Australia — formerly London
Twenty-six years planning events for global brands. Five marathons run the hard way. Six books written between deadlines. It's the same discipline, measured three ways.
01 — The work
From a Planning Director's desk in London — building FIFA World Cup and Champions League sponsorship activations — to a distribution event in Tokyo for 1,200 visitors from 65 countries, to seven years leading international delivery as Global Projects Director at SQR Group. Today, that same discipline runs KR Consulting out of Townsville: strategy, project management, stakeholder mapping, business development, and system builds for organisations across Queensland.
In 2017 I designed and pitched a frontline-staff training program to Buckingham Palace. They said yes — three times.
Clients across three continents — Castrol, McDonald's, Mastercard, Shell, Nestlé, Audi and Lexus, alongside community partners including On Common Country, Queensland Country Bank and Mission Australia.
02 — The story
I founded Mindful Mums Queensland in 2019 to help mums nurture themselves as well as their kids, and I've been writing ever since — six books since 2020, from a memoir on burnout to picture books illustrated with my daughters. I speak on mindful leadership, burnout and building a wellness mindset, and I host the Everyday Wellness Podcast.
My first book, Broken to Unbreakable, was nominated for the Australian Business Book of the Year across Health & Wellbeing, Personal Development and Audiobook — and yes, I narrated it myself.
Featured on ABC, 7NEWS, Townsville Bulletin, NQ Weekend, Fierce Truths and Kiddipedia — writing and speaking on wellness, motherhood and midlife.

Qld Literary Award nominee03 — The pace
Five full marathons, run the hard way: Gold Coast, Melbourne, Brisbane, Sydney and New York. Three World Dragon Boat Championships representing Australia, in Wellington, Nottingham and Poznań. Every kilometre trains the same muscle I use in a project plan — pace yourself, expect the wall, keep moving.
I'm a mentor for the Indigenous Marathon Foundation, founded by Rob de Castella, helping young people find their own self-worth through running. And when Russia invaded Ukraine — a country I lived and worked in for a decade — I ran marathons to raise funds, alongside sending supplies and helping people evacuate.
"To self-actualize is to become the most that one can be. In order to self-actualize I need to live outside my comfort zone, let go of fear and trust my intuition."
Project manager, marathon runner, author — same person, same distance covered.
